Growing onions

We asked every child to bring a covered plastic box and onion to the kindergarten. Every child wrote his/her name on the box and filled boxes with water.

Together with teacher they made holes in the covers of the plastic boxes. We compared the sizes of the

onions- whose were the biggest, smallest and intermediate onion.

We put the onions into the plastic box and began to watch the onion growing. We waited until we see the leeks.
